Mount Vernon Tour   May 13, 2016

Our classmate Peter Cressy has arranged a terrific program for the Class of 1963 at Mount Vernon on Friday, May 13, 2016. All members of the Class and their spouses are invited to join us at what promises to be a memorable event.

More than 30 people have already signed up for the event. But there is still ample room for other classmates to join us.

The day will feature a VIP tour of Mount Vernon, together with discussions of George Washington’s multiple careers as commanding general, President, and pioneering entrepreneur. The discussions will be led by experts, including our own Wick Murray. A detailed schedule of the day’s events is set forth at the end of this e-mail. The cost will be only about $100 per person.

Peter Cressy is reserving a block of rooms at an Alexandria hotel for those who will be coming from out of town. This will enable you to extend your stay into (or beyond) the weekend, at a time when the Washington area is at its most lovely.

If you are interested in attending, please e-mail Peter Cressy and me as soon as you can. Peter Cressy’s e-mail address is

Thank you very much. I look forward to seeing you at Mount Vernon in May.
