Dear Member of the Yale ’63 Family,

It’s less than four weeks now until the Yale ’63 New York City pre-reunion on May 29-30, 2018.  So, if you haven’t already registered for the Yale ’63 Class Dinner at the Yale Club of New York City on Wednesday, May 30, 2018, and the other New York City pre-reunion events listed below, now is definitely the time to do it.  Registration for these events can be accomplished on the AYA website, a link to which is given below.

With one exception, spaces are still available at all of the Yale ’63 pre-reunion events listed below, but in some cases the spaces available are limited.  So you are urged to register sooner rather than later for the events that you would like to take part in.

Deferred.  This is a post Reunion activity and will be offered to the class at a later date after the Reunion.

                        - New England and Canada Cruise

                                           coordinator  Jon Larson    jon.larson@yale63.org

Nine day Holland America cruise of New England/Canada, Boston to Montreal, rent a car, tour Montreal and then drive to Saratoga Springs three hours south, overnight in Saratoga Springs, continue three hour drive to NYC, drop off the Enterprise rental car one block from the Yale Club, check into the Yale Club for three nights, join the official pre-reunion activities in NYC including two dinners at the Yale Club and 1-2 afternoon theatre events, then an 11am departure shared coach bus from the Yale Club direct to New Haven hotel drop offs which Jon will arrange and reserve and we all share the expense, check into the reunion for Registration around 2:30pm, then a late afternoon gathering of the British Isles and Tour de France participants for a special evening reunion to reconnect, share dinner and drinks, and see Pat’s great videos of our journeys, and then join the full “free” reunion planned events for the next two full days plus Sunday morning.

You should book the Holland America cruise as soon as possible.  Cabins are available in most of the classes from inside tat $700pp to ocean window at $1,000pp to suites with private decks at $2800 pp.  The $1,400pp Lanai shared balcony rooms are already sold out. Your cruise reservation should be booked soon with Holland America via phone to get the best availability and price.   Sharing the nine days onboard for dining, shipboard events, and shore excursions will be great fun before NYC for the three days shared there, and a joint coach direct to New Haven.

This shared pre-reunion event might have to be removed as an official Y63 event if the response is limited, but a much smaller group than anticipated would be alot of fun also.

Ocean View cabins without a private balcony shown above are around $900 pp including required gratuity, taxes and port charges.

The Lanai cabins with shared deck at $1,400 pp are sold out already.

The Vista Suites shown above with private balcony are around $2,800 pp including required gratuity, taxes and port charges.
